Tent RocksThis month's featured destination is Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument. These unusual formations are within minutes of Cochiti Lake below the dam towards the Pueblo de Cochiti. These cone-shaped tent rock formations are the products of volcanic erruptions that occurred several million years ago and left pumice, ash and tuff deposits over 1,00 feet thick.
