TOWN OF COCHITI LAKE
RESOLUTION 2007-16

A Resolution Regarding support for Cochiti Lake Recycles application for a grant;

Whereas; in accordance with the Recycling and Illegal Dumping Act (NMSA 2005 secs 74-13-20) and the Recycling, Illegal Dumping, and Scrap Tire Management Rules (20 NMAC 9.2) Cochiti Lake Recycles may apply for financial assistance from the Recycling and Illegal Dumping Grant Fund; and

Whereas; The Town of Cochiti Lake supports projects that conserve natural resources to reduce pollution and decrease the amount of waste sent to landfills, projects that will benefit Cochiti Lake and the surrounding community,

Be It Resolved that The Town of Cochiti Lake fully supports the volunteer group Cochiti Lake Recycles in their efforts to a) develop a recycling program, and b) submit a Recycling and Illegal Dumping Grant Application to the New Mexico Environment Department.
