When?

Thursdays, 3 – 7 p.m.
and
Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Who?

Cochiti Lake Recycles Coordinating Volunteers is a group of Cochiti Lake residents who are collecting and delivering your recylables to the Santa Fe Recycling Center on Buckman road.




Where?

Volunteers will be stationed at the new Cochiti Lake Recycling Depot in the parking lot behind the Cochiti Lake Town Hall.

 

What?

Plastic #1
includes lighter weight plastic bottles with screw on lids. For example: soda, water, and juice. NO lids
, tubs, or bags.

#2  Plastics
includes heavier plastic bottles with screw on lids. For example: milk, juice, detergent, hair care, body wash. NO lids, tubs or bags. NO paper milk or juice cartons.

 

 

Glass
Mixed glass bottles and jars (all colors and styles). Remove lids, corks and as much food as possible.

Clean Aluminum cans, foil, trays, and pie plates. Remove as much food as possible.
NO pots or pans

 

Newspapers, advertisements, inserts, magazines, catalogues, receipts, junk mail, and office paper. Remove any plastic bags, strings, or rubber bands. NO brown paper bags.


How?

*  Please rinse your plastics, glass bottles and aluminum cans.

*   Please crush (or schmunch) your aluminum cans.

*   If you are recycling newspapers,  please bring them in a brown paper bag, or bind them with string.

*   We are NOT ready to recycle tin cans or cardboard at this time.

*   Bring your recyclables to the Recycling Depot on Thursday or Saturday when we are open. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE your recyclables unattended outside the Depot Pen!

 

Would you like to volunteer in our
Cochiti Lake RECYCLES program?

We need Volunteers to:

*   Collect and bring your recyclables to Cochiti Lake Recycling Depot (behind the Town Hall.

*   Work once a month at the Recycle depot accepting recyclables.

*   Help transport recyclables to the Buckman Recycling Center in Santa Fe
