promised, Will Powell, Regional Director of NMMS and Eric Jahadi,
architectural senior
student,
will be available to answer questions as they present their conceptual
design of our future community center and fire hall.
This is an exciting time for our community!
We
urge everyone to attend this important meeting on Wednesday, June 4th
at 7:00 PM in the Fire Hall.
Congratulations to Barb Hinnenkamp and her supportive colleagues, who with
the vision of a community center adequate to meet the requirements of varied groups,
successfully pursued and received a grant from New Mexico Main Street to
explore reconfiguration
of our Town Hall.

What Is New Mexico Main Street?
New
Mexico Main Street (NMMS) is a program
of the
state's Economic Development Department designed to support revitalization
efforts in in small rural communities by providing
services and assistance to achieve their goals.
How
Will Their Services Benefit Us?

By
providing us with a grant, NMMS has gifted us with architectural services
valued at $50,000 to assist with a conceptual design for our community
center
·
Additionally, once we have this conceptual
design, guidance is given to assist in the process of applying for grants
and capital outlay funds needed to complete our goals.
